Altus Municipal Airport consists of Approcimately 369 acres, with one hard-surface concrete runway 17/35 which is 5001 ft X 75 wide with a 50ft wide parallel taxiway. The runway has Medium Intensity Runway Lightning(MIRL) and the taxiways have Low Intensity Taxiway Lighting(LITL), both of which are pilot controlled to adjust the intensity settings. We have a lighted wind sock
and rotating beacon. There are Visual Approach Slope Indicators(VASIs) to runway 17 and 35 to provide glide slope information to pilots. The airport has 31 T-hangars(all of which are leased)
a 8,300sq ft. aircraft maintenance hangar, 3,500sq ft. vehicle storage hangar, and a 40,000 sq ft. General Aviation Hangar. The Altus Municipal Airport has 54 based aircraft.
